Lauren + Conor : Engagement session at Hotel Icon
Allie + John - Couples session at the Stanley Hotel and in RMNP. These guys are hilarious and we started off our session with a lock smith after they locked their keys in the car. Shortly into the session John started feeling ill so I pull out some of my many protein and fruit bars to try to help. The altitude is no joke. They just moved to Denver from Chicago so maybe he is still adjusting. Well we definitely put them to the test when we drove up Trail Ridge Road but everything turned out great.
Meghan + Josh - Intimate wedding at Las Velas with the sweetest and most gracious couple I've ever met, hands down!
Rhiannon + Callahan - Not only do both of these guys have the coolest names but also the coolest hair! Just wait to you see it! :0 We drove up the mountain together and had a good visit about life and wedding plans! So excited for this couple!
Kate + Nick : Vintage session at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park and in Rocky Mountain National Park. Truly a joy to work with this sweet couple from Boulder, Colorado. We met through Instagram and I was so excited when I found out she had a passion for vintage clothing and classic things. Kate is actually a vintage entertainer and amazing at what she does. Whether it was giant smiles or moody moments, Kate and Nick were amazing from beginning to end. We started our session off at the historic and haunted Stanley Hotel and their attire was perfect matched in this setting. I felt like I had just went back in time! For the sunset we drove up to Trail Ridge Road for the most epic views! So amazing. So many favorites from this session.
Julissa + Javier- This adorable couple came all the way to Colorado to have me shoot their engagement session. After eight years together they are getting married this year. I really enjoyed visiting with them and being able to capture such a special session.
Sandra + Ryan : Mountain top overlook golden hour session at Lost Gulch in Boulder, Colorado.
Dorian + Eric : Destination wedding in Estes Park, Co at Black Canyon Inn.
I arrived a day early to do an mountain top engagement session with this Texas couple. Such an epic view up on Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. These spots at 12,000 feet take your breath away literally. :)
Dorian & Eric are from Andrews, TX and I was thrilled when I found out they were engaged. I actually did Dorian's senior pictures years ago and was also her older sisters wedding photographer back in 2009. I met them in Estes Park and then we drove up the mountain together. Such an epic view up on Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. These spots at 12,000 feet take your breath away literally. :)
Koreena + Parker : Golden hour engagement session in Boulevard Oaks neighborhood.
Darby + Josh : Station 3 brunch wedding
Caitlin + Zach : An intimate session on a raining day in Houston. Luckily Caitlin and Zach's wedding venue is the Crystal Ballroom and we were able to get into Lawless. This spot has so much character and I created a little sunlight to emulate the golden hour look. When you are a photographer you learn to improvise, so I just make the best of the ingredients I'm given. Sometimes I make potato salad. Sometimes I don't. lol
Connie + Jospeh - Wedding ceremony at River Pointe Church. Reception at the Dunlavy.
Jenny & John and along with a few of their closest friends and family got married in Houston's 1910 courthouse. We spent a little time following the ceremony taking photos outside of the courthouse and on Mains Street. Their very first date together was at Minuti Coffee so stopped by there for a photo too.
Heidi + Jason : Romantic Boulevard Oaks engagement session.
Nichole & Kyle : Two physical therapist from Florida but now reside in Missouri City, Texas.
Shelley + John - Had a great day working with these two and we covered more stops than usual for an engagement session. We started at the Conservatory/ Underground Beer Garden for beer and board games, then made stops at Sesquicentennial Park, Discovery Green, and to the Houston Graffiti Wall. From amazing greyhounds to colorful graffiti, it was a colorful and creative session! Im excited about the wedding because I know they have some unique things planned, as they are big Star Wars fans!
