Its always nice to get back to my home town in west Texas, especially in the fall when the weather is a little bit cooler than Houston. I was excited to be there for my long time friends Trina and Gabe when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. We were able to knock out some beautiful engagement pictures and brainstorm about their big day over some of my favorite mexican food, Rosas Cafe! Can't wait to be back for a special wedding day with these guys in January. Be watching for it!
First part of the engagement session was shot at Comanche Trail Park. The lighting was perfect and all the trees here combined with a few prime lenses added to such a dreamy feel for this set. In Odessa you have to use trees where you can find them! lol The final spot, Midland's Wildlife Preserve, was amazing however we ran out of our golden light. The last couple photos were taken with the help of my trusty Nikon SB-910 speedlights triggered by Pocketwizards.
